HOW TO USE THE FLASHCARDS To use the Emotional and Regulating Flash Cards encourage the child to select a card that best represents how they are feeling in the moment. Discuss the emotion depicted on the front of the card and have the child share their thoughts or experiences related to that feeling. Turn the card over and explore the questions and the coping strategies on the back of the card together. Encourage the child to practice some of the coping strategies.
